Shanghal Trip Day 6

Day 6 - 2nd Jan 2008
In the day, we join a one day Hangzhou tour.. woke up very early to board the coach to Hangzhou.. our 1st destination is the Hangzhou Xi Hu which is a very big lake.. and I made a mistake in my earlier blog entry.. the lake we went to before the three kingdom is Tai Hu, not Xi Hu.. haiyah.. they have so many hus in China it's confusing!!!
The Xi Hu is very scenic.. Shi Qing Hua Yi.. 
We sat on this sightseeing boat that I think looks pretty nice and clean..

Second destination.. some fish pond park to see fishes.. the signboard..
There's this board in the park that people touch for good luck. It's said that you can only touch it 3 times then u'll be lucky but if u touch more than 3, u'll be unlucky because u r greedy to touch more than 3 times.

My boyfriend.. I like this photo too! I like the way the shadow of the tree is cast.. and I like my boyfriend's side view! Hee.. :)
Third destination.. Lei Feng Ta..At the foot of the tower..

Went up by the lift and this is the view from the top level of the tower.. I like the sky there.. it's so blue.. and it's e shade of blue that I like! *baby blue*
Fourth destination.. the silk factory..

Desmond bought alot of the blankets for his family and aunties.. but we all didn't buy.. too expensive!! One blanket costs 100plus sing!!! Lifen and me bought silk undergarments though.
Fifth destination.. the tea plantation where we tried some tea. The tea is said to have healing properties.. I bought a tin for my grandma and for wansean.. My grandma didn't like it.. Hope seannie likes it (haven't given her yet).
Here, Lifen is following the instruction to use the steam from the tea to rejuvenate her eyes..
Last destination.. the dunno wad shi (temple)..
We didn't went into the temple area for praying with the rest and went on our own hiking trip up those small hills.. here's e peak of one.. and we were panting as we climb.. guess it's been a long time since I did some exercise..

At night, we went to the Raffles City.. inside the shopping center sells all the branded stuff..
We had our dinner at Ajisen in Raffles City.. While waiting for our food, Dear said he wanna go toilet.. then he came back with a stalk of Ferrero Rocher flower for me!!! It looks v princessy and there's a key chain bear bear attached to it too! *sweet* It's my magic wand for the night!! 
They each had one bowl of ramen for dinner while I ate rice. I forgot what rice I ate already but I remember that it took a long time to come. When it finally came, they had almost finish eating. We shared some finger-food too and also ice cream for dessert. *lick*After eating, we went to take neo-print!! The neo-print price is also like sg.. quite ex but then the photos that came out are very nice!!! We all decorated together.. 4 designs in total and we developed 4 big ones which we each chose diff design to keep.. n 16small ones which we each get to keep the 4 designs!! *grinz*
After that, we went to the arcade there to play and Dear caught one Hello Kitty softtoy wearing the bride costume for me! Lifen used all her tokens also didn't manage to catch it.. then I also couldn't and Dear caught it on 1st attempt!!! *impressed* And he caught another one for Lifen too!!! *happy*Our dessert.. I feel that eating dessert is a very happy thing because most desserts are sweet! :)
Outside, after 10pm, the shopping center transforms into a flea market.. and we got so excited because the things were really cheap!!! However, although we managed to buy some cheap stuff, it came w a price.. Lifen's wallet was pickpocketed.. :(
The day ended with us in the Police Station.. We all learnt a lesson that night.. we need to be more careful with our belongings when we are overseas and don't be too engrossed in shopping that we become other people's target unknowingly.
